Shipping & Returns
We have a flat shipping rate of R70 to anywhere in South Africa; that includes everywhere from smack-bang in the middle of Sandton to Papkuilsfontein.
If you spend more than R1000 on Mami Wata Surf apparel then we be good to you and shipping is FREE.
This excludes surfboards, which are shipped door-to-door at a flat rate of R650.
Delivery will usually be within 5 working days.
We ship our surf apparel with our friends at Courier Guy and we will e-mail you a link where you can track your package as it makes its way to your front door (or whichever door you told us to send it to).
If for some reason you don’t receive your package within 5 working days from the date you placed your order, please e-mail us at email@example.com and we’ll find out what’s going on.
We want you to be 100% satisfied with your Mami Wata Surf purchase; but if you’re not, you can return it to us for a refund or like-for-like exchange. FREE OF CHARGE. Mahala. Simahle. Gratis.
Please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org giving us your order number and an address that we can pick up your package from. It will need to be somewhere that you will be from 8.30am till 5pm on the day of pick up as we cannot guarantee what time the courier will arrive. We will e-mail you a returns form that you can print out and fill in (in your neatest handwriting) and include in your return package.
Your item needs to be returned to us unworn and in its original condition with the tags on. Once we’ve received the product back and it gets a thumbs up from our once over department, we’ll arrange for your refund or your exchange item to be sent to you. Refunds are always credited to the original payment method.
You’re important to us and we want you to be completely happy with Mami Wata products; if you’d like to chat to someone from our team before buying any Mami Wata item, be it a surf cap, a t-shirt, surf trunks, boardshorts, or surf hoodie please e-mail us at email@example.com.
We’re happy to exchange an item for a different colour or size ONLY. Please follow the returns process above, indicating that you would like an exchange for a new size/colour in the 'Return Reason Code' column on the returns form. Please also indicate the colour/size you would like to receive in exchange for the item you are returning in the same column.
All exchanges are subject to stock availability and are done as quickly as possible. If an item is out of stock at the time of the exchange being processed, a full refund will be issued.
If you want to exchange for a completely different style, we ask that you place a new order.
Returning items can take some time. If you need your exchange in a hurry, we also suggest you place a new order and send back the wrong size/colour for refund. Please refrain from contacting us about your exchange or refund unless at least ten days have passed since you submitted your request for exchange/refund.
